We’ve made it – happy Friday, one and all! I don’t have a ton of links because I haven’t had much time to Internet this week. And what time I’ve had has been spent on Frock Flicks, which I highly recommend if you have a geeky interest in costume dramas (which I do)…
- As a mid-level employee, this list of The 12 Worst Workplaces in Contemporary Literature caught my attention. I thought Eileen was a reach and Lighting Rods terrifies me, but I’ve added a few of the others to my TBR.
- I watched The Young Victoria a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it. So, I was please to find this list of The Literary Roles of Emily Blunt. Though, you may enjoy the Frock Flicks FB feed more if you’re interested in a list of her costume dramas (like me).
- Are Feminist Dystopias the #MeToo Movement of Literature?
- Happened upon this list of books about/set in Kansas. I mean, of course there are books about/set in Kansas, but it never occured to me that that was such a thing. I’m glad it is because I’m reading a book that is also set in Kansas, but it’s about the BTK killer and that gives one a rather depressing impression of prairieland.
